Designer and screen printer Allison Glancey of strawberryluna is passionate about making things with her own two hands. Though she was always fascinated by things such as propaganda art and absurd random associations, Glancey never saw herself as a designer until she took a screenprinting class in 2004 and fell in love.  She started creating prints for the sheer fun of it but she soon found herself getting attention and being asked to design gig posters. Making posters started as a part-time gig, but soon developed into a full-time accidental career. Perhaps it is the fact that she’s self taught and spent so much time studying just about everything but art that gives her work it’s own distinct flavor. The self-described goofball leads a great twitter feed with a conversational nature, a fun attitude for life and an obvious passion for what she does.
