Brimfield just ended. Did any of you go? This round I skipped out, as I’m spending a good deal of the summer cleaning out my grandparent’s house in Rhode Island. It’s grown into a beast of a project…and the range of treasures from 70 years of hoarding could rival any antique sale.

Here are a few snaps from the last round, when my friend Allison and I rented a car and made a road trip out of our Sunday. The laundry list of homegoods ranged from mismatched linen chairs and rustic tables to sequin cats, art deco plates and antique maps.
