Graphic design is having it’s hay day. So much so, that simple facial illustrations have become coveted items the fashion, art and editorial worlds. We were charmed by Giulia Scalese’s accessory collages last month, and have been seeing a steady stream of monsters ever since. At this point, our swipe folder’s so robust that it was time to share. Rejecting fine lines and pastel subtleties, this bold and playful trend combines youth, sophistication and wit, characteristics the fashion industry and millennial culture happily embrace.
