Latifa Echakhch’s curent show at The Hammer’s Project embarks on a story of lost communication. Affixing hundreds of pages of carbon paper to a gallery wall, Echakhah has run a solvent over it, shedding the ink of it’s meaning. Her piece, À chaque stencil une revolution (for each stencil a revolution), uses the outdated mode of communication to reference its significant use in previous wars.
