Hayden-Harnett’s Spring Cleaning Sale!

Hayden-Harnett has always been a personal favorite. Their modern styles and retro color palettes always merge the best of both worlds- from handbags to swim suits to your basic everyday skirt. In recent years, the Greenpoint headquartered company has expanded their line to include clothing and accessories in addition to a full line of patterns! This weekend, they’re hosting their bi-annual KAPOW! spring cleaning sale, where they’ll be offering samples and warehouse oddities along with past season merchandise at up to 80% off. Head over to one their two NYC locations to see what treasures you can dig up.

Assouline Book Sale

If you’re anything like me, your bookshelves are overflowing with over-sized glossy bricks. For this week only, Assouline Publishing has decided to run a sale on 19 of their beautiful lifestyle books via Gilt Groupe. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, a gift or just love flipping through the large beautiful photography, it’s worth checking out. Pricing starts at $23 and goes up from there.

Salt Box Bag Sale

While I’m not currently in the market for a new bag, I stumbled upon these totes from Salt Box today while perusing One Kings Lane. They are apparently also for sale on Pop Deluxe. Reminiscent of Kate Spade’s signature look, they differentiate with their use of material and colorful plaid. It’s hard to go wrong when pairing classic geometrics with poppy color, a staple many home goods and fashion designers swear by.

NuLOOM Sample Sale

You may remember the May Flooring Solution post where Emily Gup, one of Pattern Pulp’s intrepid contributors, compiled a long list of themed options. It just so happens that the rugs posted from NuLOOM are currently on sale at One Kings Lane. Go crazy, have a ball. I did. The black and white graphic jigsaw puzzle will soon have a home in downtown Manhattan.

Budget: Klaus Haapaniemi for Iittala

Imagine waking up every morning to a cup of coffee fit for a fairytale. Reminiscent of Nordic storytelling, Klaus Haapaniemi‘s illustrations are sweet, intricate and extremely sought after these days. Titled by WGSN as one of “the most important rising stars in illustration and design,” it’s no surprise why Iittala has chosen to adorn their tableware with his illustrations. The best part about it all? The entire collection’s on sale at Gilt Groupe today.

Budget: For the Statement Traveler

Every once in a while I’ll re-post relevant sample sales to Pattern Pulp. Today’s Britto offering from One Kings Lane is particularly fun, as I remember putting this pattern on a mood board this past summer. Keith Haring inspired pop art has infiltrated fashion campaigns across the globe, from Coach to Comme des Garcon to Marc Jacobs. For a bit of art in an indestructible roller bag, check out the sale before they’re all gone!
