We’ve all been watching photorealism evolve over the past few years. From cat humor to 80’s wolves to political commentary, if it’s on tumblr, it’ll soon be on a one piece bathing suit, a McQueen dress or a Threadless tshirt. Lately we’ve been noticing the celebration of jewelry on other accessories. From Dannijo’s iphone case to Lanvin’s satin scarf, the Man Repeller-coined term, arm party has leaped past the wrist and onto product. Are you a fan?
How lovely is this ikat tie? Embracing native american and patriot palettes, the Gitman Brothers have jumped outside the comfort zone we’ve grown accustomed to with a bolder line of decorative neckwear.Festive, but not over the top, this tie and pocketsquare combo embody the stylish gentleman who enjoys attentive stares.

Though I couldn’t convince my husband to take the patterened route, he did purchase his winter jacket there.
The clocks have been turned back and we gorged on turkey, which means we are officially headed into the cold winter months. I can’t help but love the prevalence of cognac browns that I’m seeing in photography and product; the warm mahogany hues make me want to surround myself with thick wovens and rich prints, light a fire in my imaginary fireplace, and get fully prepared for hibernation mode.

The logo and packaging is beautifully designed by Yoshihiro Yagi and mimics the daily cycle of the sun, a perfect parallel for the brand.
While many of you are enroute to Thanksgiving destinations, it seems only suitable to prepare for winter now that Christmas music is playing on every radio station. While none of these are as practical as MUJI and The Darkroom‘s touchscreen gloves, they are fun and festive and easy to wear from behind the steering wheel. What’s your favorite?
