This cloud series by Rudiger Nehmzow’s been circulated the web for a few weeks now.
The images are athereal on an entirely different level. Strapping himself down and using an oxygen mask, Nehmzow and his crew went into the sky with the airplane door wide open and shot this incredible series.
The tonal shades caught between cumulous and status states are both poetic and striking.

Emilio Cavallini is one of my favorite hosiery brands. I first discovered the label on Garance Dore’s site when she photographed Tennesee Thomas of The Like in oversized hearts.
Emilio’s abundant creativity and use of geometric cuts, optical motifs and strong colors has elevated leg wear to the level of wearable art. Since 1980, when the Emilio Cavallini brand was registered, the designer has been strongly expressing his determined style: unconventional, eccentric, ever changing.
Currently, Cavallini is working on an archive with the patterns and techniques he’s developed in his 40 years of design. He also nourishes his passion for current and ancient art.
This passion leads him to build art pieces of various forms and dimensions using tights as if they’re strings. Emilio Cavallini: Magnificent Obsession is a beautifully whimsical art book that is a true testament to Emilio’s dedication and passion for art and his creativity as a fashion designer.

For everyone who hasn’t seen Twin Peaks: watch it. I’m just coming out of a David Lynch binge, and my mind is bending. I’ve convinced myself time travel happens, owls are evil, and there are mysteries waiting for me in the deep, dark woods. Maybe this is why I seem to be seeing everything in moody blues. In fashion, photography and interiors, I’m noticing deeper blues and suspicious moods, and I’m loving every minute of it.

On my last trip to Paris, I snapped a tremendous reel of photos. The most prevalent theme throughout was leopard. From accessory overload to a visit to the Museum of Hunting and Nature, the accents were cool and accessible while still timeless. I added one of my favorite skirts as well, just to show how the pattern can transcend traditional styles.
We’ve all been watching photorealism evolve over the past few years. Lately we’ve been noticing the celebration of jewelry on other accessories.
